To celebrate the 75th anniversary of LNER A4 4468 Mallard, setting the world record for a steam locomotive, her class mate were brought together. 60008 Dwight D Eisenhower and 60010 Dominion of Canada travelled from USA & Canada for the celebration. They arrived at the Port of Liverpool on 3rd October 2012 and arrining at NRM Shildon 4th October. They both remained at Shildon for a few days until 60008 moved to NRM York for cosmetic restoration. 60010 had its restoration to its original number 4489 done at Shildon.
