Saturday 5th December saw two steam hauled rail tours visit the City of Lincoln. First to arrive was 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe from Tyseley. Image here are of 5043 passing Collingham Station, booked to arrive at Lincoln central station at 11.44. This was followed by 46233 Duchess of Sutherland from London Kings Cross station via Spalding and Sleaford. Images show the Duchess at Blankney, booked to arrive at Lincoln Central station at 12.49. After a stop over at Lincoln both tours left on the Midland line via Newark to Kings Cross and Tyseley.
